 Special needs, special solutions
A website for an organization with a membership base is
designed with the same considerations as a commercial site: it must play a role in the
organization's strategy and should not simply be a decoration (or distraction) hung off on
the side.
There are some special considerations, though.
- The site may be aimed at both the membership of the
organization and a larger audience, perhaps the general public. These two targets may need
different approaches, both in the same site.
- If the organization has events that need timely posting on the
site, then keeping the site up to date is crucial for serving the members. NetTenna's
exclusive EventMaster
resource can do this automatically.
- The site may be maintained by more than one person, possibly
volunteers and possibly not experts in web technology. The site must be easy to work with
and accommodate various levels of skill and attention.
- Non-profit organizations especially may need to balance cost
with features. NetTenna can help make sure that effectiveness is optimized in the process.
NetTenna is prepared to create a powerful website for your
membership organization. It wouldn't be the first time for us - check out the
Oregon Symphonic Band for a world-class
example.
